Nitin Patel joins Connector Subsea Solutions, bringing with him over 20 years' experience in developing products and driving sales in Subsea pipeline connection technology.
For 15 years Nitin was commercially and technically responsible for running a multi-discipline team at Hydratight, which developed many world firsts with Statoil's PRS deepwater repair systems. His team provided key connectors for the commissioning of the first diverless tie-in, for Haltenpipe in 1996, and has since delivered many iterations and developments to the product range. This includes the installation of the full connector contingency systems that serve Statoil’s deepwater pipeline contingency. He secured and managed the delivery of key projects including repair of the 30in Kvitebjorn pipeline in 2009 and the fast track development of high temperature diverless split clamps used in rectification work on Åsgard field. Commercial and business successes also include specialist Bolt Tensioning systems for use in in the North Sea with Sonsub.
Nitin recently spent 5 years at Quickflange helping drive sales and develop critical use connections systems for Topside and Subsea use around the world. His most recent appointment was at Boltight, where he managed both the Sales and also Engineering teams supplying specialist Bolt Tensioning systems for use in Oil and Gas, Wind and Power Generation market.
He now joins CSS as Chief Sales Officer where his role is to create productive sales channels and form client relationships in order to accelerate growth worldwide of its pipeline products.
